Hummingbirds are the tiniest birds in the world.

Hummingbirds are the only birds able to fly backwards.

A hummingbird's heart can beat up to 22 times per second.

Hummingbirds do not suck nectar through their bills, they use their tongues. They can lick 10-15 times per second while feeding.

Hummingbirds are very smart and have an excellent memory.
