It was a beautiful sunny day and a ship was in the harbor. All of a sudden the ship began to sink. There was no storm and nothing wrong with the ship yet it sank right in front of the spectators' eyes. What caused the ship to sink?

Shopkeeper's Birds

I am the owner of a pet shop. If I put in one parrot per cage, I have one bird too many. If I put in two parrots per cage, I have one cage too many. How many cages and parrots do I have?








A pet store owner has a parrot with a sign on its cage that says "Parrot repeats everything it hears". Andrew buys the parrot and for two weeks he speaks to it but it doesn't say a word. He returns the parrot but the shopkeeper says he never lied about the parrot. How can this be?
